Hotpot on SBOBET: nine single reels in a steaming pot
Hotpot swaps paylines for a 3x3 grid inside a split hot-pot bowl. Any three matching ingredients pay, and three chilli jackpots sit on top.
Hotpot is one of the more unusual slots in the SBOBET games tab. There are no reels in the usual sense. Instead, a round Sichuan-style hot-pot bowl is split into a 3x3 grid, and each of the nine squares spins on its own. Chopsticks reach in from the side, and chilli oil bubbles underneath.
The loading screen carries the PG Soft logo, so we can name the studio. The title reads HOT POT with a red CHILLI JACKPOT tag.
The grid and the ingredients
The symbols are hot-pot ingredients: marbled beef rolls, lotus-root slices, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, a honeycomb-tripe piece, sweetcorn, meatballs and a curled pink roll. When three or more of the same ingredient land anywhere in the nine squares, they pay. They don't have to be in a row.
Winning squares burst into flames, and a banner above the bowl shows the total. Here it reads Total Win 10.00 on a Rp 0.50 bet.
The Chilli Jackpot bars
Three bars sit above the bowl:
- ULTRA HOT marked x9, showing 250.00
- SMOKIN' HOT marked x4, showing 5.00
- FLAMIN' HOT marked x6, showing 40.00
Between spins the figures creep up by a cent or two (250.00, 250.01, 250.02), so they grow as you play. Below them is a red progress bar, and in the hero shot the banner reads "WIN UP TO x200 IN MAIN GAME!". That is the game's own line, not something we have tested.
What the rules page says
The rules describe "a 9 single-reels video slot featuring match-3 gameplay and 3 jackpot prizes". It is played with a fixed 10 base bet, bet level 1 to 10 and bet size 0.05 to 20, in rupiah on this account.
