Belangkai is a local betting game, and Mega888's version keeps it very plain: one square board, four symbols and a gold dome. You put chips on the board, the dome comes down and goes up again, and the symbol it reveals decides which bets win.

The board

The playing area is a blue square with a patterned background. Each side has one symbol: a fish at the top, a prawn on the left, a sun on the right and a stylised emblem at the bottom that we could not name with confidence. Each symbol area is marked 3.90.

Between the symbols the board is cut into smaller areas. The triangles in the corners show 2.90, the round spots near each corner show 1.95, and four more 1.95 panels sit around the centre square. The layout suggests these cover combinations of symbols, paying less than a single symbol. The screenshots do not include a rules page, so check it in the game menu before you use them.

Along the bottom: a panel with BET, WIN and BALANCE, a row of chips (0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50, with arrows for more), a slider with a plus button, and the table limits, MIN 0.5 and MAX 500. A HISTORY column on the right records past results.

The reveal

Here a single chip of 1 sits on the bottom emblem, and a hand lifts the gold dome off the middle of the board. BET reads 1 and the balance 51.39.

The result appears in a black box at the top right: the same bottom emblem. WIN shows 3.90, the emblem is added to the History column with 3.90 under it, and a red New Game button appears to start the next round.

How it compares

Belangkai rounds are quick and the choices are few, which makes it feel low-key. The payouts still reflect the odds: a single symbol is one of four and pays 3.90 on a stake of 1, not 4. What does 3.90 mean on the board?

It is the return on a chip placed on that area. In the screenshots a bet of 1 on a single symbol that came up shows a win of 3.90.

Is the result decided by a real dome and dice?

No. The dome, the hand and the reveal are animation. The game software decides the result.
